Comfortable rooms with great beds and a newly refurbished restaurant make this place a solid choice. While some areas could be improved, and the restaurant prices are on the higher side, the friendly staff and convenient location near local cafes really enhance the experience.

I was eager to visit Umpherston Cave during my trip to Mount Gambier, and I chose the Henty Motel specifically for its great location near the site. To my delight, I found the amenities, especially the inviting indoor pool, to be a wonderful bonus after a long day of exploring. The restaurant on-site served a satisfying meal, perfect for winding down in the evening.

When I contacted the motel 30 minutes prior to arrival to query if there was a microwave in the family room, I was told that no rooms had a microwave. On reaching the motel, we realized that the room did have a microwave.

I was really let down by the noise from crickets in the roof all night. They were so loud I couldn’t sleep at all! Plus, a leaking tap kept dripping, adding to the chaos. Totally unacceptable!

i had a great experience here, everything was great, the location was magnificent close enough to restaurants and attractions such as the blue lake and umpherston sinkhole and mount gambier. my room was spotlessly clean with the bath, showers plus ac, and the check-out was easy. the property was in the center of the city.

Nothing to dislike.

The room was spacious and comfortable, and the in-house restaurant, Noky, exceeded our expectations with excellent service and delicious food. Relaxation by the pool and the lovely garden area made for quality family time. Plus, we enjoyed exploring nearby landmarks like the Blue Lake and Umpherston Cave together.

The staff here really knew their stuff, and the place was pretty clean. I had a great time dining at the in-house restaurant—good food! Plus, the prices were quite reasonable. 😊.

I had an excellent stay at this budget hotel. the location was perfect, making it easy to access everything locally. the rooms were well-equipped with an electric kettle, air conditioning, and an iron, adding to the convenience of my stay. the continental breakfast offered a great selection to start the day.

The venue is situated conveniently close to Picnic Point Reserve, around a 10-15 minute walk, and the spacious queen room features comfortable beds.
